The photo challenge for 2012 is more or less the same photo challenge I would like to do every year. Sadly, as time goes on I know I will not be able to continue to do the same challenge each year. Therefore I vow to try to do it for as many years as I can. I wish I had started it back in 2008 when my son was born.
So what am I going on about? Here is what I would like to challenge myself to and all of you joining me. I would like to take a picture a day of each of my children. They do not need to be together, happy, outside of the house, or awake. Just capture them doing what they do, living life to the fullest!
What if I miss a day? That is okay, life happens and we can’t always do anything. While I want each of us to strive to do a picture a day, it is not required. You can use http://365project.org as an aid and a place to share your pictures. I am not sure if it will let you do more than one. I have not signed up…yet!
What is required?
- TRY to take a picture a day of each of your children.
- Share at least one picture a week on your own blog. Post a link to it on my check in post each week. I suggest doing it on Wordless Wednesday (THANK YOU for this suggestion Nicole).
- At the end of each month, pick your favorite picture from the month and post it on your blog. I will have a monthly check in post. You can share your link there.
- A week into the new month I will post all the favorite pictures and let everyone vote for a week. So please vote
There will not be a prize for each month. You can brag about it. And I might post it to my main page if you would like! - At the end of the year (well the start of 2013), all of the winners will go into a final for the year. The winner will win a prize. I don’t know what yet.
Sound easy enough? I sure hope so. I am really excited about this. And sorry I didn’t get this page up until the 2nd. So get your camera out and start taking pictures. I hope we all are able to learn to use our cameras better, learn to take better pictures, make some new friends, and above all – capture some great memories!
